XPSP2 black screen after a few minutes

When I tried to log in locally to the SBS the login prompt was there but after entering the user / pass it stalled at a blank screen. ctrl alt del was not even responsive. If I go to one of the 5 machines and log in as myself I don't get a black screen. I created a brand new non-admin user, and that works fine too. And this just happened recently; after an Office 2000 Upgrade on the server. I don't see why the office thing will affect 5 computers and not the others.
